Aliens in Space is probably one of the seminal sources concerning this subject, especially in view of the time it was written in which was shortly after the US Air Force had just concluded Project Blue Book after 23 years. The powers that be had certainly thought that they had the upper hand and had effectively suppressed the UFO investigatory movement, but for the true pioneers of that movement who kept digging up the forbidden information. Keyhoe's 1973 book did exactly what his 1950 record setting articles on UFO's and the government sanctioned cover-up that was in full swing from the beginning. This book preceded a new generation of documentaries and writings that unveiled the truth and stripped away the lunatic fringe label that the US media has always attached to the subject. His incredible index of quotes supporting UFO reality by the most prominent high ranking military officers of the US armed forces has got to wake up anyone with a brain unless they are brain dead. I read Keyhoe's work when it was first released in 1973 and read it years later in the mid 90's and found it refreshingly objective, loaded with facts, and sober in its presentation of fantastic revelations that have been repudiated by the government disinformation machine while, quite ironically being validated by the very source that denies such illuminating testimony-the government! For anyone seeking the facts without the sensationalized garbage, this is one of the best books you can find on UFO's.
