About the author (2010)

Lee Reich holds a doctorate in horticulture and has done extensive research on the subject of pruning. He is the author of several gardening books including "Uncommon Fruits for Every Garden" and "Weedless Gardening, " and has contributed to many more. He writes frequently for gardening magazines, including Taunton's "Fine Gardening." He lives in New Paltz, New York.
