Planning for Wellness: A Guidebook for Achieving Optimal HealthAbstract: A structured plan is presented for the general adult public leading to the development of an individualized life style design for optimal health and improved personal performance. Following an introductory section discussing the importance of developing a commitment to personal health, steps involved in personal wellness planning are defined incorporating the establishment of a health improvement goal. Information is provided on fitness, stress management, and nutritional aspects needed to achieve wellness. A variety of exercises are included to achieve supportive environments at home, at work, and at play for maintaining a personal wellness.
