I purchased this book for my 7.5 yr old who chooses not to read. He LOVES this book. It isnt a story book but it has all the pokemon in it and their storiesdescriptions. So if he reads Im happy and if mommas happy everybodys happy! Read full review

User Review - Flag as inappropriate

Overall interesting book. Many cool facts, but is quite brief... I was sad it ended so fast! It's also not recent, and it goes up to Hoenn's Pokémon.... I believe. Definitely no Unova. It also mentions top trainers and Gym Leaders. I bet you can guess who's top!

About the author (2007)

Tracey West is the author of more than 150 books for children and young adults, including the Pixie Tricks and Scream Shop series. An avid fan of cartoons, comic books, and manga, she has appeared on the New York Times bestseller list as author of the Pokémon chapter book adaptations. She currently lives with her family in New York State's Hudson Valley.
