Just a footnote. On page 355 in the 9th Memoir, Clausius mathematically defines S and calls it Entropy on pg. 357, which has become "By far the most abused word in science..." (Jaynes, E.T. Ann. Rev. Phys. Chern. 1980. 31, 579- 601).
