Samuel Allin (1756-1841) married Nancy Easter at Hillsboro, North Carolina in 1782, and moved to Pulaski County, Kentucky. Descendants used the surname "Allen" and lived in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, California and elsewhere. Some descendants became Mormons and lived in Utah and elsewhere.
