About the author (2006)

Steve Grisaffe was born in the rural town of New Iberia, Louisiana. Rising from the small town, he would go on to play bass guitar for many stars including; Trace Adkins, Sammy Kershaw, David Allan Coe, Kenny Rogers, The Coasters, Drifters, Platters, Marvelettes, and others. As the lead singer for the country group River Road, he placed four singles on the national charts for Capitol Records in 1997 - 1999. After many requests from friends and fans, he finally wrote this book about the journey from humble beginnings to the heights of national success.
