Started slow, I had trouble getting into it at one point thought of going to something else. But then it picked up started interesting me, felt it started to pick up speed, thought it an enjoyable book, by the end I learned to like the characters and enjoyed the story. Read full review

About the author (2012)

Laurence Shames is a native New Yorker. He was a reporter and wrote a non-fiction best-seller on the Mafia called Boss of Bosses and was also the 'Ethics' columnist for Esquire. He is the author of five Key West comic thrillers. He won the CWA Last Laugh Dagger Award for the funniest crime novel of 1995 with Sunburn. After living in New York for twenty years he moved to Key West in Florida in 1990 Laurence Shames has been a full-time writer for over 20 years, during which he has penned everything from essays to screenplays, social history to crime fiction.
