About the author (2007)

Eleanor Farjeon (1881?1965) was a writer, poet, and playwright. Whilst best known for her children's verse and stories, she was also a regular contributor to "Punch" and other magazines, and wrote the words to the popular hymn ?Morning Has Broken.?
