About the author (2009)

Marty Drexler earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Kent State University in 1997.  A self-described math nerd by day and aspiring comedian by night, he has taught inner city school mathematics for almost nine years.  Some of the author's hobbies include playing basketball, the drums, collecting sports cards, and fishing.  He lives with his wife, Melissa, and their son, Joshua, in Canton, Ohio.
