I have my students read this book before they start writing their papers and theses. It is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read. I still browse it occasionally and learn something new. I only wish that widely-used graphing software would easily support the principles that Prof. Tufte espouses.
Destined to become a classic, this book will completely change your viewpoint on how important it is to use the right graphics in business, economics, and politics to convey information. Mr. Tufte went above and beyond the typical writer's efforts to produce a book which will entertain and educate you in a way that most business writer's are incapable of doing. This is one of my favorite non-fiction books of all time.
