Very thoughtful couple of plays by Pinter dealing with communication. There isn't much of a plot to speak of in either play featured in this collection, but nonetheless they explore many themes including communication, gender, and emotional responsibility. This is great, minimalist theatre, a real turning point in Pinter's career, and an interesting read.
