the Atom Bomb got started by women as much as men. Women could start a rumor and get away with it as gospel back when the major source of Uranium was in Africa. These ladies will never get the credit they deserve but they picked up on intelligence better than man. This book is really interesting because it shows how the "He men" of those times really viewed women. This reminds me of the movie:"Shinning Through" about a woman who spoke fluent German being chosen to go to Germany and gain intel. From this time frame, women will never get the credit they deserved but they were "on the money" and ready to share the load. Thanks to all our women who were billed as secretaries but, as every boss knows, ran the joint.
