I had to read this book for school. This book was disgusting, offensive and incredibly arrogant. It takes a position that appears to be in support of marital rape, suggesting that it is a woman’s JOB to fulfill her husband’s sexual needs. Sex is a marital duty and women should comply. It goes on to discuss that woman CANNOT understand the importance of sex. The female brain is just too small I guess. Or maybe woman don’t enjoy sex? One quote in particular said "If an atheist ever comes up to you and demands proof that there is a God, all you have to answer is one word: "sex".” Then it continues on that if that doesn’t convince an atheist that there is a God, you can know that they have a terrible sex life. How arrogant of a statement can that be? The book also says that anyone who engages in premarital sex will not have a fulfilling marriage and it will end in divorce.

Although there were a few things I disagreed with-and some stuff seemed pretty redundant, I enjoyed his presentation. Some of it was pretty funny. I haven't read any other books by Leman-but think it is an important subject-that people don't generally address. Read full review

I had seen many recommendations for this book in other book I read. I like the author's sense of humor and his emphasis on communication within the marriage. He can step on your toes by reminding you of your responsibility to Christ which you can help fulfill by loving your spouse. Read full review

- Sex to men is similar to talking to women - it is a key way they connect. You wouldn't think of depriving women of conversation. - You need to invest in a healthy sex life - 2-3 times per week. - Guys need to pay attention to hygiene & to be caring/loving the rest of the time too Read full review

Practical and honest. Although I could have gone without the nicknames for body parts. ("Mr. Happy") I prefer to call a penis "penis" and a vulva "vulva". Other than that this book was helpful Read full review
