In doing a bit of research on the internet, under google books, I found The History Of Utah by Orson F Whitney, published 1904. Pages 383-385 in that work have a history of Jacob Peart Jr., son of Jacob Peart Sr., and Elizabeth Haldon (my 3rd gr grandparents). In the history he cites that Elizabeth and 4 daughters passed away in Nauvoo. Jacob Jr himself was ill, but was administered to by the Prophet and lived. His brother John died a few years later in Galena.
