A light fantasy touch here, but mostly grounded, these short stories are reminiscent of Joan Aiken, but with a humor more like DWJ or Jenny Nimmo. Might be 'preachy' to those who don't believe in the fantasy elements, but read as magical realism quite charming. Read full review

i very much disliked this book it was boring and hard to understand! the author clearly does not know how to make a catchy story and overall the book did not impress me nor did i enjoy it.
