About the author (1999)

Doreen Virtue, the daughter of a Christian Science spiritual healer, is a fourth-generation metaphysician who blends psychology, psychic practices, and "A Course in Miracles" into her counseling practice and writing. She has appeared on many national television programs, including "Oprah", has had her work featured in a variety of newspapers and magazines, and has written a dozen books. She resides in Southern California.
