About the author (2007)

Jeremy Beadle is a British TV personality famous for his wealth of general knowledge. He has been the creator and host of many game shows, including hosting Win Beadle's Money (based on Win Ben Stein's Money); creator of a weekly cryptic quiz in The Independent; and the author of several books, including Beadle's Miscellany. Ian Harrison is a former researcher for television documentaries and the author of many books, including The Book of Firsts, The Book of Lasts, and The Times Picture Collection: London.
