.Awesome Book Will make you rethink the way you think you Love....

Awesome perspective of Evangelical theology that stresses salvation begins with God yet deserves our commitment to work for Gods kingdom on earth. The church is alive and serving humanity (while it also studies Gods word and worships our creator). Chen gets 'it' right in this compelling, easy to read inspirational study.

Crazy love

So often my own life is dominated by the daily grind. Waking up, going to work, coming home, going to sleep, repeat. The typical person living in the United States has a life that is completely dominated by a consumer culture. To quote The Verve's 90's hit... "It's a bittersweet symphony that's life. Trying to make ends meet, your're a slave to money, then you die."
What do we have to live for? How are we supposed to find purpose? Who am I that this world should be about me?
Questions that are in one way or another explored through Crazy Love. This was an easy but convicting read, that has built upon convictions I have already held in my own heart as a Christian. This book can encourage and empower others to take purposeful steps in their relationship with Christ. Give people a fresh perspective on stuff, and allow more followers to participate in and be dominated by His redemptive, powerful and crazy love.

This book is like a a dose of CPR for the Christian community. In a time where complacency seems to be the rule and not the exception. Francis Chan has raised the bar for all of us who call ourselves Christians to examine exactly what kind of relationship we have with such an awesome God. Thank God for folks like him who are willing to be transparent and remove the veil that has clouded our vision for so long. Looking forward to more inspired words by Francis Chan.

A fresh and needed reminder of the most important life giving fact of His love for us. My favorite quote was the analogy of Christians being manure, together we stink, but spread out we make things grow.
