About the author (2002)

Colleen Cable is a Christian author of historical fiction and romance. She has written over thirty-five novels which have earned her several awards, including the Romance Writers of America RITA, the Holt Medallion, and the 2009 Best Books of Indiana-Fiction award. She was born and raised on a farm in Indiana. Her first books were historical romances set in Wyoming. It took her a year to write her first novel because she continued to work as a full-time receptionist. She writes the Rock Harbor Series, Mercy Falls Series, The Lonestar Series, an dthe Aloha Reef Series. Carol Cox, a native of Arizona, balances her love of writing with her roles as pastor's wife, homeschool mom, church pianist, and youth worker. Denise Hunter is a wife, mother of three boys, and a favorite new author in the "Heartsong Presents" line. She lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Gail Sattler has been voted a favorite "Heartsong Presents" author. She works for her husband's Web design company in Vancouver, British Columbia.
