The Accord a novel that is both complex and so very simple at the same time.
At the greatest breadth the novel is a story of transhumanism, showing how things would be in a man-made virtual heaven that isn't quite as heavenly as it should be.
At it simplest it is a simple love story that takes place over the course of millenia.
I found the Accord to be an interesting, fun, and engrossing read. It can be tad confusing at points, especially between the first and second half of the novel, where the perspective shifts and first person pronouns represent a different character than they did before.
Be noted though, that if you pick this one up in the store, the preview on the back cover does not do the story any kind of justice.
