About the author (2008)

Maine writer Jeff Howe started writing in earnest when he was 46. Up to then, he wrote sporadically as the inspiration or need arose. His first three books, From Here to Never, Falling from a Cloud and The March of the Turtles are poetry anthologies. His fourth book, Of Trains and Other Things is his first foray into the world of published fiction. Born and raised in Maine, Jeff has been many things: artist, soldier, bodyguard, computer instructor, spy, janitor, graphic designer and printer. He has lived in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Georgia. Jeff currently resides in Maine with his wife MJ, and two sons, Scott and Ryan.
