Original Intent: The Courts, the Constitution & Religion
From the left: Barton has a Bachelor of Arts in Math Education degree from Oral Roberts University and he received an Honorary Doctorate from Pensacola Christian College. He is the founder of Wallbuilders, a group dedicated to developing "materials to educate the public concerning the periods in our country's history when its laws and policies were firmly rooted in Biblical principles," and to exposing the 'myth' of the constitutional separation of church and state. Barton's writings on church and state reflect his theological stance only, and have been shown to have numerous errors, distortions, and outright lies. For example ... he states the following: It is constitutional for public schools to display Jewish and Islamic religious holiday symbols but not Christian ones. Skoros v. City of New York, 200695. This simply is not true. This school displayed secular objects related to Judaism, Islam, AND CHRISTIANITY. But David Barton doesn't tell you that. He wants you to believe that a school in New York is endorsing Judaism and Islam, but doesn't allow Christianity. The students made Christmas Trees, Christmas Wreaths, and Snowmen ... which represented the secular side of Christmas. They also made menorahs and dreidels; representing the secular side of Judaism. The crescent and moon represented The secular side of Islam. Again, David Barton does not mention this, leading the reader to think that the Star of David was present. This is only one example of the deceit in this book. He is not a serious historical scholar but rather sifts through records looking for anything to support his biased revisionist view. His work will appeal to those fundamentalists who want a book to tell them their belief system is right and that America was founded as a Christian nation. It's great political fiction but it is designed only to energize the true believer.

Outstanding piece of factual research reflecting the true and complete history of our nation and how it became great by holding to the values of the founders. Thoroughly shows how the progressive movement has been the downfall and disgrace of America.
