FIAMMA NIRENSTEIN is a columnist and Jerusalem-based correspondent for La Stampa, a daily paper based in Turin, Italy. She also writes for Panorama, an Italian magazine, covering events in Israel as they occur. Her books include: Il razzista democratio (The Democratic Racist), Mondadori 1992; Israele: una pace in guerra (Israel: A Peace at War), Il Mulino 1996; Come le cinque dita di una mano (Like the Five Fingers of One Hand), co-authored with her parents and sisters, Rizzoli 1998; and Un solo Dio, tre verltā (One God, Three Truths), co-authored with Giorgio Montefoschi, Mondadori, 2001.
