Unless this book has been re-written or has gone through a second publication, I wouldn't recommend this book for the simple reason that there are WAY too many errors! Paragraphs are mixed up and or uncompleted, there are errors in spelling & grammar and there are errors in the early history of the family as in children of families in with the wrong families!
I found the first part of the book (the history) inaccurate and in some cases, confusing. Maybe because the paragraphs didn't flow correctly. This book should have had a "proof reader".
The good thing about this book however, is the stories of the "descendants" of the 19th & 20th century. It is also good as a "family" reference if you are interested in "who's who" and how you are related to that family. Also good if you want to connect with long lost relatives across Canada!
