Whipple recieved a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Wichita State University . He worked for several prestigious art studios before becoming a freelancer. In his twenty-five year career, Rick has worked in every area of illustration - advertising, editorial, book, and institutional. He specializes in depictions of people, but will take on almost any subject.
