About the author (2004)

Paul Bright works for a large chemical company as an expert in plastics. He started writing stories for his own children when they were young, and he kept on writing even when they left home. He was born in Hertfordshire, England. Matt Buckingham enjoys writing and illustrating the kinds of picture books he would have liked to read when he was growing up. He lives in London, England, with his sheepdog Meg and works full time as an illustrator.
