About the author (2008)

Don Rauf is a writer and editor who specializes in material for middle school and high school students. He is the editor of Careers and Colleges, a magazine for high school juniors and seniors, and he helped write the Career Ideas for Teens series for Ferguson Publishing. He has published articles in Seventeen, Nick Jr., Young Entrepreneur, Scholastic's Science World and many other youth-oriented publications. Monique Vescia is an editor and writer of children's books. She is a contributor to the Scholastic BookFiles series of reading guides for middle-school students and to the Career Ideas for Teens series for Ferguson Publishing.
