Brian Azzarello is the Eisner Award-winning author of 100 BULLETS, LOVELESS, BATMAN: BROKEN CITY and SUPERMAN: FOR TOMORROW VOL. 1 and 2.This dark and intriguing Eisner Award-winning series features a mysterious agent named Graves who approaches ordinary citizens and gives them an opportunity to exact revenge on a person who has wronged them. Offering his clients an attaché case containing proof of the deed and a gun, he guarantees his “clients” full immunity for all of their actions, including murder.
In this volume, as more members of "The Trust" fall, one family head reaches out to a semi-retired Minuteman for help and protection. But with blood in the water and Graves and his soldiers making a final push for total control, will this old-timer be able to stop the massacre? The self-contained, beautiful and uncompromising little crime stories …. [are] often astonishing. Azzarello is remarkably talented at capturing dialect.”– THE NEW YORK TIMES

Hard to make sense of the ending, but quite a well-told story with good art right up until then. Haven't even found an explanation of the ending on forums or a wiki yet... Read full review

100 Bullets continues to deliver the goods, just not a well as it did in the previous volumes. This hard-boiled, pulp story ran too long for this reader. Still, if I had the option, I'd have given this story 3.5. Read full review
