Joseph A. Mussulman, a former faculty member at the University of Montana, is the author of Along the Trail with Lewis and Clark and numerous articles on the Corps of Discovery. His web site, "Discovering Lewis and Clark" (, has nearly 1,500 pages and has logged nearly 53,000 hits per day. Mussulman lives in Missoula, Montana.
