About the author (2016)

Niels Silfverberg, a Danish Salvationist composer/arranger of music for brass band, with music published by The Salvation Army in England and Scandinavia. He grew up in Gartnergade Corps where he received his initial brass band training from his father: Erik Silfverberg (OF). He is a band member at Valby Corps where his son Marcus Silfverberg is the Bandmaster, as well as a member of the German Staff Band. Niels is an educational consultant and professional developer, mainly working with educational design, research and development of professions at universities and colleges. He received his MEd from the University of Aarhus.
