This is an attempt to tell the tale from the POV of the wolf, much as Jon Scieszka did so successfully in The True Story Of The 3 Little Pigs! This one is obviously made as a classroom exercise, teaching point of view, and lacks the genius and pizzazz of Scieszka's romp. Mediocre. Read full review

User Review - Flag as inappropriate
Hate this book started reading it to my daughter and realized it had a really bad message. Basically if you're a confident female that feels attractive and awesome then you are deserving of death. The last sentence was "she was better than nothing". Don't get me wrong I think fairy tales already have bad messages but to replace it with such misognistic mean spirited message is definately not better.
