About the author (1992)

Niels H. Lauersen, M.D., Ph.D., a world-renowned fertility expert, is an obstetrician/gynecologist associated with St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York City. He is a board-certified OB/GYN, the founder of the New York Medical Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Medical Director of the New York Center for Reproductive Technology. Dr. Lauersen is the author of more than 100 scientific papers on pregnancy and several bestselling books on women's health care.
