This memoir is a brilliant reflection of how the challenges we experience mold us into the individuals we are today. You will laugh and cry (ok, sob at times) with the author as she vividly recaptures the unimaginable as a child diagnosed with brain cancer. Do yourself a favor & pick up this page-turner (I literally couldn’t put it down & finished in one evening) and allow yourself to feel all the feels. As an adult cancer patient myself, it is beautiful and refreshing yet heartbreaking to see this “process” through the eyes of a childhood cancer survivor. Are they scars or are they souvenirs?
