When I first got this book I didn't think it would be that good, but boy was I wrong.
I love how it breaks down items needed and then it goes even farther in breaking down the creation of many flowers leaves. What you can do with I simple length of ribbon, with a twist here and a knot there.
In creating period pieces even if it's a corset cover a hat or a bustle gown of the late 1800s this book will add so much more to it. Not only because what I want to add is easy to find but because it is easy to do as well. With easy to understand directions but the vivid pictures too.
I highly recommend this book to any one to add to there library it really doesn't matter what you do if it's period costumes like me, or unique gifts for that hard to shop for person, or if you have a piece like a hat, purse, a pillow that just needs a little something. You can either already have something in mind that you want to add, or look threw this book and quickly add that little touch.

Review: Ribbonwork: The Complete Guide: Techniques for Making Ribbon Flowers and TrimmingsUser Review - Jessi - Goodreads
The author is definitely talented, but I gave this book a lower rating because it qasn't quite what I was looking for. If you are heavily involved in ribbon craft, by all means, give this book a shot. Like I said, it was just not quite what I was looking for. Read full review
