A job in Hawaii sounded like a great way for gumshoe Sharon McCone to combine business with pleasure. But from the moment she arrives on Kauai, she finds herself in what the natives call a place between fire love and fire terror. Her friend, filmmaker Glenna Stanleigh suspects someone is trying to stop production of her local documentary, and a series of accidents look more and more like sabotage.
