About the author (1997)

Laura Van Wormer was born on November 11, 1955. She attended S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where she studied to become a television writer, anchorwoman, and talk show host. After receiving a B.S. degree in 1978, she worked as the secretary to the editor-in-chief of Doubleday and was promoted up to the rank of editor. She became a freelance book author in 1984 and wrote books based on the television shows Dynasty, Dallas, and Knots Landing. Her first book as a romance novelist, Riverside Drive, was published in 1988. Her other books include West End, Benedict Canyon, Any Given Moment, Jury Duty, Just for the Summer, Talk, and Expose.
