Gregory the Great, Moralia I-XVII. PL075. Never thought i could have it. Gratias tibi Domine. This is a wildly meandering commentary on Job (its sequel in the next volume). Very much loved, copied, extracted, quoted by whoever in the middle ages. Free theological associations with allegories. Walk down the path and gather flowers. It is like Vergil: a NescafÚ for the mind. 20 lines and its smell captures your mind for half a day.
