Probably one of the most interesting and imaginative books I've heard of. The author created an entire world and then was able to make us understand what the laws were that made such a world possible. A GREAT story for those with intelligence and an open mind.

A very interesting novel, worth the consideration of any who would begin to think about the existence of things which are truly original or completely unthinkable. It is unfortunate that this Google version does not contain the full text, but stops about 10 pages short of the end. For those who found this and would like to read the whole volume it can be viewed online in HTML on the gutenburg.org website, or can be downloaded from the Canadian library archives as a full PDF scan of the original. The links for both the gutenburg.org version and the Canadian archive version follow:

Enjoy!

An imaginative and educational exploration of dimensionality as well as a satire of Victorian England, told from the perspective of a square living in Flatland.
