Don't let the facts get into the way of a good story.Jim mcd who I one time respected gives accounts of characters around in the 1990s.Some of his accounts are loosly based on fact but the rest of the work is made up as it goes along. In reality this book is a poor read and some facts are so wide of the mark that they are lies.Note the chapter on studs lanigan. His account is a work of fiction but makes a good story. The chapter on Hugh Torney, total bullshit so in conclusion save your money but if you seek fantasy and poor journalism read the Sunday World
