This novel did take some patience getting into, even though I'm a decades-fan of Tyler. But once you spin around the spool of going deeper into time, it caught me in its thread and never let me go. It's vintage Tyler in the end. Wonderful read. Read full review

I really enjoyed this. It's a big sprawling look at three generations of a family. I wish we'd learned more about the kids (Jeannie, Amanda, Stem & Denny) but learning about the parents and grandparents probably told enough.
