This was a great book that I continue to read every year or so. For a 40 year old book I can't believe it was never made into a movie. I have passed this on to my son and he enjoyed the book as much as I do. It does drag a little in the middle but doesn't lose my attention. To this day I would love to see this converted into a film. I give it 5 stars.
