About the author (2000)

Rev. Lowell D. Streiker is an ordained minister and has chaired the Spiritual Development Network of the United Church of Christ-a national organization devoted to spiritual renewal within mainstream Christianity. Rev. Lowell is also an inspirational humorist, speaker, and author whose personal experience ranges from appearing on the Oprah Winfrey show to advising the White House. He is the author of "Nelson's Big Book of Laughter." Rev. Lowell and his wife, Connie, reside in Cottonwood, CA.
