Baskin, a Caldecott Honor artist, has been a dominant figure in the art world for more than forty years. A creator of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he has received numerous honors. His prints and watercolors are found in most of the world's major museums. He lives in western Massachusetts.
