The Roman site at Billingsgate Lorry Park, London: a catalogue of the Samian and other finds
A spoil heap in an East London lorry park yielded a large quantity of Samian ware, largely recovered by Guy de la Bedoyere himself. The find was remarkable because of the quantity of the pottery and its quality; nearly every Samian workshop is represented. This book presents a catalogue of the finds, with some limited discussion.
