About the author (1990)

John A. Lent is a professor in the School of Communication and Theater at Temple University. He is the editor of the International Journal of Comic Art; Asian Cinema; and Animation in Asia and the Pacific. He is also the author of The First One Hundred Years of Philippine Komiks and Cartoons.
