Written for followers of Christ who desire the blessings Jesus promised all who acquire the traits and characteristics He identified in the Beatitudes, Come Teach Your Lambs asks the question, "What lessons must followers of Christ learn to live the abundant life in times of political, economic, and spiritual upheaval?"

To be blessed, followers of Christ must detach from the world and all the world values and place their trust in God; be sorrowful for the misfortune life visits upon their neighbors and sorrowful for their own sins as well; acquire strength of character manifested in self-mastery and self-control; hunger and thirst to be filled with for all the good things of God; show mercy and compassion to neighbors who circumstances are difficult and whose situations are unfortunate; strive to be pure in all areas of life; work for peace in their own lives and the lives of others; and accept as a compliment the trouble which the world visits upon followers of Christ whose lives are like that of Christ.
