Kunjen Phonology: Synchronic and DiachronicThe object of this study is the phonology of the group of dialects which are spoking by the Kunjen Aborigines of North Queensland, Australia. Many of the languages of Cape York Peninsula, including the Kunjen dialects, show phonological features which are generally regarded as being atypical of Australian languages. |
