This book is an embarrassment to modern grammar and linguistics classes in college. A nearly 100 year old, 70 page book, written by 2 men who are not experts of grammar, is filled with redundancies and needlessly simplistic statements. Rules such as, "Don't explain too much," or, " Don't use needless words," don't need to be written down to be known by most college level students writing term papers. Their professors should already know this, and they should know this having had high school experience before then.

Absolutely brilliant! Even though English is not my first language (and not even second), this book not only helped me to better express myself in writing, but also helped me to enjoy reading English literature even more.

"A book that is needed until it is no more needed". A complete reference of best ways of writing English that too in a pocket book size.

It's concise.
It's humorous.
It's straightforward.
It's well balanced and reasonably biased.
It's articulate and persuading.
It's just handy if you'd like to write in English.
All in all, it's a must buy.
