About the author (1998)

Mark Garvey, editor of the Writer's Market, has worked at Writer's Digest Books since 1988. He has been reporting on the publishing industry since 1992, his freelance articles appearing in a variety of periodicals, from Writer's Digest to Walking and Guitar Player.
